Abstract

The educational guidance reveals the peculiarities of the literary trends in English Literature as well as the life and literary career of the writers who are famous for their works for children. The list of literary terms will improve the level of future teachers’ literary training. The guidance is addressed to the students of higher educational establishments who study the course “English Children’s Literature”. The materials of the guidance may also be interesting for Master students, teachers of English and pupils of specialized schools.
