dc.description.abstract	The article reviews professional training of prospective economists by means of information technology. Special attention is given to the discussion of the need of the modern economy for economic professionals, as well as the role of information technology in their professional careers. The notion of information technology, information resources, and distance learning technology are analyzed. The latter is deemed to have a high degree of mobility and a potential for engaging a wide range of students; it is regarded as one of the most effective and promising training systems in this field of knowledge.	ru_RU
