dc.description.abstractThis article is devoted to identifying the geographical features of the availability of passenger air transportation in the regions of the Belarusian-Russian borderlands. For this, the index of the availability of passenger air transportation for the administrative regions of Belarus and the city of Minsk for 2019 was calculated according to three proposed scenarios and a grouping of regions was performed. The author came to the conclusion that in the first and second scenarios 78% of the total population of the Belarusian-Russian border regions are characterized by limited opportunities for the consumption of air transport services, while in the third scenario this share is only 15%. Based on the results obtained, improving the air transport network using the capabilities of regional airports and the potential development of domestic regional air traffic is an important direction for the development of air transport in the country.ru
