Abstract

The article reveals the conceptual foundations of Yu. V. Dragnev's scientific school "Theory and practice of armwrestling". The mission of the Scientific School is to provide scientific and methodological assistance to university teachers and physical education teachers in the process of organizing arm wrestling classes; assistance in improving the training process of training wrestlers in the LPR Arm Wrestling Federation (if available). The main idea of the Scientific School is to prepare the future physical education teacher for the organization of arm wrestling competitions among schoolchildren in extracurricular activities, taking into account the training sessions in the sports section "Arm Wrestling" in a secondary school.
